Life is so fast-paced but a year or so ago I stopped saying that I don't have time. Time is our most valuable resource. Spend it wisely. Make the time to do what you love.
This video talks about predicting your own success as opposed to setting goals. The first strategy assumes success and simply clarifies the steps you need to take to get you there. The second is more a hope that someday it will work out.
There is so much emotional labour involved in being a woman and a mom. Our stress, exhaustion and frustration levels are often high and sometimes they cause us to develop mommy martyrdom. This is when we routinely put others before ourselves to the point that we often feel angry and resentful. Things don't always happen the way we want them to but that doesn't mean they didn't happen the way they were supposed to.
When I originally filmed this stream of consciousness, I wanted to demonstrate the overwhelming amount of unanswered questions surrounding the reopening of schools in Ontario. I never dreamed that it would be viewed and shared so many times on social media.
The anxiety for students, parents and educators alike is very real. One thing is for certain, if we're going to reopen schools we need a plan and this certainly ain't no plan!
We all know that hitting the snooze alarm gets us a one way ticket to Grumpyville, so why do we do it to ourselves?
I challenge you to go to bed earlier and replace your snooze alarm with 10 minutes of meditation the second you wake up.
You won't believe the difference it will make in your mood, clarity, energy level and mindset.
